Drive Your Future

Pure Electric

Typical Range 140 - 300 km

Pure Electric – high performance batteries are used to provide power to an electric motor, which in-turn drives the wheels. These vehicles need to be charged.

Plug-in Hybrid (PHEVs)

Electric limited - Fuel Normal

Plug-in Hybrid (PHEVs) – a highly efficient petrol or diesel engine mated with an electric motor and batteries. This enables a range of hundreds of miles using the internal combustion engine, with the ability to run on electric-only at lower speeds or for local journeys; or a combination of both.

Range-extended Electric

Typical 125 km plus extended

Range-extended Electric – as per pure electric cars, these only ever run on electricity. However, they also have a small petrol engine that acts as a generator to top-up the battery charge and hence extend the car’s overall range.
